Today was a day of ups and downs. We planned to do 19 miles and instead we only did 13.5. This was because of how awful the weather was, it was cold, wet, and rainy. But we are getting to stay in a shelter tonight which is great!
I am glad we got to stay in a shelter tonight though because it suppose to we a night full of rain. Also I got to hang out with a lot of the guys that I have been seeing the last few days. It's great out here, kinda like a huge family. I will say, I do miss my own family and girlfriend back home. Luckily I get to see some of them in Hot Springs this coming weekend, I can't wait!
Tomorrow it is supposed to be rainy all day and we plan on having a huge day, 21 miles. So we are planning to get up around 6 and get started.
I want to thank everyone for wishing me a happy birthday, it has been pretty good considering the circumstances. As always thanks for all the support and prayers!
