Today was a pretty good day! Woke up this morning to the sunrise get over the mountains. With us camping in the meadow on top of one of the mountains the sunrise was spectacular. While watching it, we were able to even cook breakfast from our tents, this was great seeing how it was chilly this morning.
It was an easy day hiking compared to usual. We hiked 16.5 miles to No Business Knob Shelter. The reason we didn't do to many miles today was because we wanted to get into Erwin tomorrow morning. Erwin is only 5 miles away from this shelter, which won't even take 2 hours.
I thought the name of this shelter was pretty peculiar when I first heard it. Later I finally realized that the reason it is called "No Business" Knob Shelter is due to the fact that it does t have a privy (composting toilet).
It was also nice that we were able to hangout with people we have already met. Again we are with P-Nut, Jetpack, and also Lioness. They are pretty cool, like most on the trail they are heavy with language though. P-Nut also said that he was going to quit smoking this morning. As of now I think he still is going strong! Keep him and his quitting in your prayers. It's amazing to see how some people change for the better out here! God really moves on the trail.
